Equalizer Technology

Contrast technology is a revolutionary coated gradient lens for which Bollé received the Innovation award of Préventica in 2005. It allows to:
                             - Eliminate overheating of the cornea, a source of conjunctivitis,
                             - Reverse the aging process in the crystalline lens, a source of cataracts,
                             - Decrease headaches, and visual fatigue,
                             - Preserve colour recognition.

ESP, Extra Sensory Perception Technology

An innovating coating to reduce dazzle and the harmful affects of blue light. This technology thwarts the blue light effects and prevents, in this way, the reduction of visual acuity and the loss of contrast. It will also decrease the feeling of discomfort, dazzle, visual fatigue, and headaches.

Bollé HD Technology

Bollé Polarized Technology

The polarizing filter contains perfectly aligned crystals, which block the horizontally polarized light. Acting like a Venetian blind, it makes it possible to eliminate the cause of dazzling and only lets pass the light known as useful. Polarized lenses offer an incomparable comfort on water, but also for outdoor activities, around town, and for driving.

Organic Laser Technology

For laser protection, Bollé offers polycarbonate organic filters with several assets:
    >> Safety: almost unbreakable, they are 20 times more resistant to shock and impact than tempered mineral glass of equal thickness. Their pigments and absorbers are completely incorporated in the material. Because of this and in contrast to mineral filters obtained from thin layer deposit; their performance is not reduced by scratches to the lens.
    >> Warning: In the event of overload, these new filters melt with a clearly audible noise, warning the user of danger, whereas a mineral filter may have shatter and allow the laser radiation to pass through.
    >> Comfort: Designed to provide the wearer with the highest level of style, comfort and fit.
